Escherichia coli BGA01

This strain was employed to evaluate the activities of geoA and geoB from Castellaniella defragrans across multiple substrates, demonstrating that both enzymes convert geraniol, perillyl alcohol, nerol, and farnesol to their corresponding aldehydes and subsequently to the associated carboxylic acids.
